Murals

This commission was to create an image and logo for the top of an entry stairway in a new inner city bar and music venue called Grace. The building itself was an historic site built in 1880 and the kauri panels on which the mural was to go were original. I decided to go with a vintage 1960’s typeface set into the Celtic Tree of Life and endeavored to retain as much of the Kauri as possible.

The painting is Acrylic and polyurethane on Kauri paneling.
